  November this year is fairly mild, quite wet and with more sunshine than we could have hoped for.  And in the absence of gales (for now) the trees still have their leaves and the colours are amazing.  The sea is spectacular at the moment too, with huge swells pounding ashore yesterday. So many pieces included in this post - 3 or so weeks worth - all small and some that are quite dark, which is inappropriate really as we've been having fantastic summer weather here in St Ives! I've been lucky to spend three consecutive days painting, punctuated by plenty of breaks in the garden making the most of glorious sunshine, in the midst of nature, enjoying summer smells, cloudless blue skies and birdsong.  It has been hot, hot, hot! Most of the square paintings are, or soon will be displayed at Art Space Gallery, St Ives   'Black Rocks Porthmeor' is exhibited at St Ives Society of Artists Mariners Gallery. All of the tiny boards have yet to be float mounted ready for display in the browsers at St Ives Society.
